soo im about to get a jvc kdr530 head unit, specs looks as fallows:

Built-in MOSFET amplifier (20 watts RMS CEA-2006/50 peak x 4 channels)

aand im looking at alpine spr 60's and 50's which specs look like as fallows:

• RMS Power Handling: 200 watts per pair / 100 watts each / PEAK Power Handling: 600 watts per pair / 300 watts each
• Frequency Response: 70-29 KHz
• Sensitivity: 86 dB
• Top Mount depth: 2-1/4-inch

and the 50's put out Peak: 540 watts per set / 270 watts each side | RMS: 180 watts per set / 90 watts each side








my main concern is I dont want to get an amp and these speakers have been reviewed really well by people but I'm not to sure if those people have amplifiers or not. basicly i've been doing a lot of research and if there are people out there with better knowledge on these brands i would greatly appreciate some input. thanks

Your headunit is not powerful enough to drive those speakers. Your going to either need an external amp, or get speakers closer to 20W RMS.

alright i got speakers my head unit can handle, now how I'm having trouble with the inputs for my speakers not being the clip friendly kind that the stock speakers are
