computer programing ? How much does it cost to program a computer on a 98 civic. It is a sstolen recovery. And the cpu was missing. So I replaced it. With a cpu from the scrap yard. (Car was rearend) but car is not running right. So my? Do I need to reprogram the cpu. And how much does this cost. Thanks

I'm an idiot.
The car doesn't have immobilizer, there is no programming for it. The PCM is not reprogrammable.
It should run correctly right out of the box.
Diagnose for whatever running problem it has.

sounds right make sure you get an ECU out of a 96-98 civic with the same trim level and transmission or you will have a lot of issues.
