Ok. Carry it to the car.
Plug it in to the correct harness connector.
Connect a voltmeter to battery ground, and probably the center wire of the TPS sensor, red/blk.
Turn the key on.
Read the meter.
Work the sensor, watch your meter.
Normal operating range when installed on a throttle body is roughly 0.49v to 4.59v.
FYI, the new TPS should read .49v on the output wire with the throttle closed.
