Hi, I recently bought a 98 Civic Ex Coupe. The previous owner did not include the keyless entry fob and also did a lot of things to the electronics in the car. I'm wondering how I can tell if the keyless entry system itself is still installed. The original stereo has been replaced, but I've read that you can still program the fobs by turning the key off and on and pushing buttons on the remote over and over. I would like to purchase an actual Honda fob, but I don't want to waste my money to find out that the previous owner removed the entry system.
