subs went out
2. Check your Wiring, The One connected to your Battery to see if your subs are drawing power, Might Be Loose (Sometimes the Fuse on the connector Goes out Unexpectedly).
3.If All of your Wiring is Good, Then It's More than Likely Your Voice Coil in your Sub, and Sry 2 Say It's Done and has Sh*t the Bed
Re: subs went out
I had this happen to me and it ended up being my amp that crapped out on me. Not sure what your setup is, but if you have speakers hooked up to the same amp, disconnect the sub and see if the speakers still work. My amp worked fine and one day just stopped working (even with the green light on..never switched to protection). And this wasn't a crap amp either it was my pheonix gold if I remember correctly...So before you ditch the sub verify that it your amp is working (and connected properly, as ^ mentioned)
Re: subs went out
had this happen to an amp of mine. 1200 watt JBL GTO series.
subs went out. took it into the shop. the main fuse that runs from the battery to the amp was fried so we put a 90A in it. turned it on and blew it instantly. turned out to be the amp. no protect lights came on at all. so it could very well have been the amp
