imported 97 civic

I was just gifted a 1997 civic ex from my mother....i need DRL to pass saftey. When i get under the dash, the obligatory grey box with the blue connector that is visable on the canadian version isnt there. Instead its some other relay. Are the wiring harnesses on the american civics that much different than the the canadian sold vehicles? Is it possible to purchase a canadian DRL relay and install on my imported civic? I searched the electrical forums and also did a search, to no avail? All i can find is how to remove DRL!

Re: imported 97 civic

I don't know anywhere but, you could always get fog lights and wire them to the ignition (using a relay of course).

EDIT: You may be able to find a salvage one here: http://www.car-part.com/
