Hi, This is my first post and hope if we somebody can help.

I have Honda Civic 1999 (DX).

Since last week, the AC/heater blower fan just keeps running as long as the car is ON. The fans comes up as soon as i put the keys into ignition untill i take the keys out of ignition. The switch (or the ****) to turn on or off (in the front near the cd changer) can just makes the fan to run faster or slower but it can not longer make the fan to switch OFF (that it used to untill few days back).... Please help me find out the problem please ?

I took the **** cap (black color) out to see if the switch does smell from inside, but it seems to be OK (but iam not sure) ... i used to turn ON and OFF the fan using this **** switch but now it has lost that control ... it can just make the fan blow slower or faster. i want the switch to turn off the fan as it used to after turning it anti-clocwise back to where it says OFF....

Please help ...

I just checked ..

when i turn the **** (the switch to turn ON AC/Heater fan) to "OFF", the A/C turns OFF but the fan keep running till I take the ignition key out.

is it some kinna sensor problem ?

Please let me know so i can try fixing this w/e ....thanks a lot !
