I recently installed a new hid kit and new stereo system on my 2000 civic ex.....as i was on an hour long drive tonight....my headlights started to go on and off randomly..... Once i pull off the road, they stayed on and never turned off....once im cruising at 60mph again, they start to shutter on and off..... I turned off radio wondering if it would help, and it actually did....they didnt turn off as much anymore..... Whats the problem here?

hmm sounds interesting...and simple...probably just because of the power demand that your audio system is puttin on the car...dimmin headlights are common.

check your alternator to see if its charging the battery properly. it should be putting out around 70 amps.
