Wiring... little help... please
Wiring... little help... please
hey guys, im new to this form but am going to start right off with a pretty tricky Q.
Ok, so long story short, wrecked my 2000 civic EX with the d16y8, so i bought a 98 civic DX with a blown motor (d16z6), swapped the d16y8 into the 98 body (after taking out the d16z6 of course), i also am using the wiring harnass from the 2000 as well as the ECU from the 2000.
but now my tack, speed, oil and fuel gauges dont work (the lights in the cluster work) iv tried 2 different clusters and checked the speed sensor fuse, nada...
any ideas? or maybe a wiring diagram? anything could help... if i have left something out that might help you try and figure it out just let me know.
thanks guys

Re: Wiring... little help... please
2000 Civic harness & Ecu will not work on a 96-98 civic. The difference is...
96-98 civics are OBD2a
99-00 Civics are OBD2b
You need to use the harness and computer that was already in the Dx.
