Fuel and Temp Gauges Stopped Working!

Fuel and Temp Gauges Stopped Working! I bought a 5th gen EX gauge cluster to swap into my 92 CX off ebay so i could have a tach. The tach and spedo work fine after the swap, but the fuel and temp gauges do not. 
I was told that the entire cluster worked fine when it was removed, so im assuming that something happened during the install. I checked the plugs in the back of the cluster, no problems there. I checked the gauges themselves, also no obvious problems.
I really need some advise here! Any ideas on what could be wrong???
