So, I just need some clarification on what grommet to use to run my power wire through. I tried searching but kept getting a database error. This question probably gets asked all the time.

On the engine side, behind the battery, what does the grommet look like? There are 2 behind the battery....which one should I use?

A pic from the engine side would be VERY HELPFUL. Thanks!

it's easier to see the grommet inside the car up behind the glove box.

Thanks for the response. When I get under my glovebox, I see 2 grommets. One of them is angled upwards, towards the fusebox by the battery, and the other goes straight though the firewall. I would love to see a pic from the engine side to confirm which one I use.

What is in the grommet I should be using? Is it a white wiring harness/clip?


Or a pic from the interior would work. I just want a pic so I can be 100% sure before I do this.

i think mine was about a 2" wide rubber piece. the harness goes up behind the glove box. i used an exacto knife and cut a small slit in the rubber next to the harness and fed my power cable through.
