Tire recommendations for:

Stock 1998 Civic EX Coupe with manual transmission. Tire size is 185/65/14.
I live in west-central Florida ( heat and rain)

I have learned in the past two days that tire buying, reviewing and shops trying to pimp their generic brands is a PITA. First off no Chinese tires recommendations please as they suck ****.

It had Falkens 912's when I bought the car 2 years ago and they are good performance wise, but seem to wear quickly.

I am at this point down to:
Michelin Defenders
Pirelli P4 four seasons
Yokohama Avid Touring S All-Season
Nexen CP621

Any other suggestion or advice concerning those listed is appreciated

If you can afford it, and you plan on keeping the car long enough to make good use of them, I'd pick the Michelins. JMO.

I went with a set of Falken Sincera SN-211. $130 less than Michelin's, 80,000 mile warranty. Only had them a few days and so far they are impressive.
