I recently changed the front brake pads on my 1999 honda civic ej9 everything went perfect I changed the brake pads and greased everything up with copper grease and tightened all the bolts up everything seemed fine except now when I hit the brake pedal there is a kind of clunk or pop noise coming from the front brakes(just one pop/clunk) it can be heard from the inside and outside of the car just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and if they have found a fix for this problem.

Have you checked to see if can wiggle the brake pads in the caliper?

I would take the while brake assembly apart again and check everything

No I haven't tried anything yet I'm going to have a look at them again tomorrow and see if I can notice anything obvious and maybe add more copper grease in places.

You do need to take the brakes apart and retrace what you did..something was not put back in correctly..
