96 Civic DX front brake pads
96 Civic DX front brake pads
I have tried several stores (Pep Boys, Auto Zone etc.) to purchase new front brake pads for my 96 Civic DX with ABS. Everytime they don't fit. They are either too long or the tabs are in the wrong place. Has anyone else come across this or do you know what is wrong with their catalogs? Any info would help.

Re: 96 Civic DX front brake pads
There are a few different versions according to the catalog.
EX/LX/DX/HX, 2/3/4 door etc.
It doesn't say exactly what the differences are between any of them. Obviously different enough to not work for you. EX probably has larger pads and that's all the Zoo carries (guess).
I bet a dealer can get pads that fit on the first try if they use your VIN to pick the car.
