street tire and drag radial

My 99 si currently has 15" steelies on it. I am planning on buying some Rota Slip Stream's but I cant decide whether i want 16's or 17's. I do want to lower the car pretty significantly. I will also be racing the car. Therefore I need help on a seperate rim set for front wheels so I can run drag radials. I don't know what size they would be, and how such a big tire and rim would fit on the front without having to make significant changes to the suspension and brake area in the front. In short I am looking for a drag race rim and tire size? Will I be able to quickly and easily switch with this drag radial set up and street tire set up? Also should my street rims be 16's or 17's? Thanks guys

Re: street tire and drag radial

You should definitely pick the 16' because there wont be any problem if you want to lower the car. Drag radials shouldn't be a problem...... The drag rims should be 15' or 16'.
