It started out so small that I couldn't hear it for a while because I had my window up, but now it's a pretty awesome squeak whenever my car is going backwards. It's not the brakes, because even backing down a hill into my garage with no brakes, no gas, no clutch, it still squeaks, and as soon as I get her going forward, there's no squeak. Any ideas about a possible fix?? Preferably myself?

well i have the same issue, but i believe mines is the axel because the boot for my axel came off then it started to sqeak in reverse

Whew! Took it in finally, and in one minute, figured it was likely a pebble in the rotor - took seven more to get the teeny little thing out. On the road in NO time, with a complimentary rock removal, and much less cringe-inducing noise in reverse.

Gotta be grateful. Love it.
