Both front and back emblems (the letter H) were taken from my car, and I'd like to put them back on. Do I need to get anything other than the letters themselves? All you do is just push them in, right?

Also, ebay seems to have them quite a bit cheaper than other parts sites. Is there a reason to avoid cheap emblems? I mean all it has to do is just not fall apart, right? Are those cheapo versions a soft plastic (vs. metal)?

The OEM ones are plastic just like the cheaper ones but the “chrome” and clear coat won’t wear off as easily. How long idk but depending on the price difference and the fact that if you get new OEM ones they might get stollen again the cheaper ones might be best.

How many companies are out there making car emblems? My guess is not many so the ones on eBay are direct from China and not marked up by parts store/Amazon.

For a 6th gen idk if there are tabs with lock type washers on them that hold it in place or just adhesive. If I remember correctly on my 7th gen the rear was just stuck on with double sided tape but the front was tapped and had little pins that went into the grill. Now my 88 Accord was the opposite but the front emblem was on the hood instead. I still have those emblems and don’t know what to do with them lol.
