New Seat Help
New Seat Help
I have a '98 Honda DX Coupe and am thinking about putting some new seats in it as they are losing some support.
I was going to pull them and redo them, but it's my daily driver and I dont want to milk crate it for a week while I try to redo the seat.
When looking for new seats, is there a bolt pattern or measurement that I should be looking for? I would prefer just a simple bolt-on replacement option. Manual seat for manual seat.
Are there other Honda's that the seats would transfer to, like the Accord? Or any other cars I should be looking at to harvest seats from?

Re: New Seat Help
Not a DIY so moved.
Any 6th gen (96-00) should drop right in, although coupes and hatchbacks have the tilt + slide forward to get to the back. Sedan seats you would have to switch the sliders/brackets if you want the tilt+slide.
I think integra seats drop in, may need to change the brackets though.
RSX seats fit with some bracket tweaking, 7th gen (01-05) would probably fit with minimal tweaking as well
If you have fabrication skills, anything can be modified to fit
