drivers seat doesnt want to latch (NOT part of the service bulletin for the seat rocking problem)
my mom moved my car this morning [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] and she moved my seat up [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] and i was trying to find exactly where it had been, and every time i moved it i had to wiggle the seat a little bit to get it to lock in on the left side. It didnt take too much, and once it locked in it was fine, but still a little annoying. My car is NOT one of the ones affected by the service bulletin on the seat rocking problem (I have a 2002). anyone else with a 2002 notice this at all?

Rep Power: 0 You're right when you say it does not apply to 2002 civic's. I work for a Honda dealership in Montreal and so far this problem has not occured for any 2002 civic's. But what we would usually is try to claim the problem on a 2001 but get your car fixed instead. Or if you want I can send you the service bulletin, and anyother you might need. To try and do it yourself. I'm also able to get the shop manual.

Rep Power: 0 mine isnt nearly as severe as the 2001 seat latching problem, mine will latch and stay in place, it just takes a little wiggle to get it to latch. i dont think its really something that will need to be fixed, just a slight annoyance.

Rep Power: 0 I'd have to disagree w CvcSI because I have a 2k2 and I had that damn annoying seat rock. It felt as if I were to loose control of my car everytime I changed gears. I took it back to my dealer and they fixed it. Really was annoying when it happened, it shook like crazy.
