Alarm on 2000 Honda Civic Si

First off just wanted to say hi. I recently bought a 2000 Honda Civic si for a killer deal and the battery is dead. The problem being is when I try to jump it as soon as I try to connect the cables to the battery the alarm starts and I can not for the life of me figure it out. I don’t know if it’s posted in a thread here but a search turned up nothing and google is giving me several different answers any help would be appreciated

Factory security system? Remove horn relay to STFU then connect battery. Then disarm it.

Aftermarket alarm? Disable it--remove its fuses?
