yea i know that lol should have explained better, its it next to the fuel pump? and can i just clean it up or do i have to order one from the dealer? and what kind of style is it? (maybe a pic?)

#24 and #48 on the diagram are both listed as "METER UNIT, FUEL." As for the difference between the two, I got nothing.

That said, OP, check your VIN. If it starts with a 1 or a 2, get #24. If it starts with a J, get number 48
ezone, what about mexican produced cars (for OP, if your vin starts with a 3)? Would #24 be the part (that is, #24 is for all north american produced cars)?

I don't believe we would have Mexican built Civics in the US in those years.
The only other choice in my parts catalog was for California emissions (KL) which was in a completely different panel with yet another batch of different part numbers.

Fair enough. I know my aunt's 02 accord was Mexican built.
OP, best bet is to plug your VIN into a parts website (i used hondaautomotiveparts.com for that diagram) and find out which PN goes for your car.

thanks for the info guys reason why i ask is because my fuel gauge is off just a little and i don't know if its the fuel sensor or the gauge itself.
