Ezone's is spot on. I didn't post this as a comparison video. In another recent thread I'm currently asking Ezone how to do a lleakdown test and what to look for when I watch a mechanic do one. With as many head gasket breach questions that come up here I just thought this video(s) would be a good reference in addition to Ezone's.
He (guy in video) explains several ways to test (including leakdown + air bubbles in coolant) for the various types of head gasket breach. Check out his other vids..he goes into details that aren't always mentioned.

Yes there are more than a dozen different ways a head gasket can fail, and more than a dozen different checks and tests to help determine some specific modes of failure.

My video is tailored to proving one very specific failure type that occurs in the 1.7 engine (the one nobody ever figures out on the first try) and some other engines that use the MLS type head gasket.

The oil heating test is one I've never seen before but, makes sense. As you told me a few years ago, that if the breach involves coolant loss there's going to be some amount of coolant in the oil pan regardless if it shows up on the dipstick and doesn't appear as a brown, frothy mix. That was the case with my car's head gasket repair as the oil looked fine visually on the dipstick. However, I drained the oil and could see coolant in it. I flushed the engine with new oil (a quart or two at time and drain bolt removed) few times and changed the oil filter twice before the final filter and oil fill. Might have been overkill but, I used the lowest price filters and oil I could find for the flush. Water/coolant came out of the filter each time too in decreasing volumes.

Looking back I probably should have removed the oil pan.
