Honda Civic 1999.: Not starting some time or dying during slow driving Please Help !!!I have Honda Civic 1999 4DSedan value pack. While it is running , It dies when it around 10 to 15 miles p/h/. Also some time it start very hard. I have change , Distributer, Plug and wires including fuel filter. But there is no improvement. What should be my next step. I am thinking to change fuel pump now.

Don't change anything until you've tested what the issue is.
Do you have a fuel problem?

I am not sure what is the real issue. Few weeks Engine light appeared and when we tested code for solenoid for automatic transmission shifting was identified. I have not changed that part either, because I don't see any shifting problem. Yesterday I was on Freeway around 65 MPH speed and care dies all of sudden,then I pulled aside. But after I started and complete my journey. So I am not sure what is the real issue is? Your help and advise is required. Please help me accordingly.

Also how i can diagnose it as if is electrical problem or fuel pump problem?
when it starting very hard , I guess it might be fuel pump problem after changing wire, distributor and plug.

You should have figured out why it wasn't starting before throwing a bunch of parts at it.

I know, but I did already ! Now what is your suggestion. As per my thought was ready to change fuel pump and transmission solenoid. But now i will hold that . Please advise me what should I do as next step

What happens when it dies? Any noises, smells, loss of power beforehand? When you go to restart it does it fire right away?

No It was going smooth and dies all of sudden. I noticed that when I try to put emergency light on, it took while to get all the lights back on dashboard. After pulling aside , I try to start and it get started right away and then I resume my journey. There was no noise, no smell, no loss of power.

So you had the 4 ways on, and when you turned the key to restart the car there was a delay before the dash lit up?

Yes That is true. Even my four way was not started immediately , when CAR dies. But it took few second to start four ways.

so its something electrical, check your battery and alternator connections, check wiring, check fuses, check relays. It sounds like something important is losing power and causing the car to shut off. When it dies is it like just the engine shut off? or is everything off?

possibly the main relay, if you know anyone with the same car, swap the parts around and see what happens
