leak in trunk

I have a 97 civic coupe ex and I've somewhat found where the leak is coming from, but not really. Its dripping from a panel that i can't see. Any clue as to what is clue as to what is causing it based on its location? The panel its leaking down is covering where the leak is really coming from so i can't really see exactly where its leaking from

Re: leak in trunk

Right click - open in new tab worked for me....

Well, either you have a hole in the side of your trunk, OR...

What about that little white connector? Looks like something is dripping down that? (Bottom center). Or is that just underspray?

Just to the left of the right trunk arm.... is that rust on the weather-stripping?

Leaking through #4? Can't tell if it is an external seal?....

I'm thinking the drip hanging off the wire harness is the leak, so it's coming in somewhere up high.

I see what might be rust under the edge of the trunklid seal.
Might be a drip hiding in the small gap where a couple of those panels overlap. Top pic, just above the hinge.
Back window leaking? Body rot?

Get the areas completely dry.
I like to cover everything in white powder. The powder can help show the paths of the leakage.
Bath talc, foot spray, Right Guard could work, they are all powders.
Pick one that smells good LOL
Set it all up.
Open up the back seat and crawl in the trunk, close the lid.
Have a helper garden hose the car while you watch for the leaks from inside the trunk.
