Hi, I'm looking into buying a 1996 Civic Hatchback DX. The owner isn't giving me a lot of info, except that it's got 177k, recently upgraded AC, and hasnt given him any trouble. My question is, are there known issues with these particular vehicles, things I should look for on initial examination? He's selling it for 1500 obo, is that a suspiciously low price for the vehicle?

My other options are some 1989/90 4th gens with similar mileage. I like the 6th gen cause it has air conditioning, and I work in Arizona.
