HVAC bezel compatability
Hi all.
New to Civics. I recently purchased a 2000 EX coupe with a standard transmission.
Someone broke into it and banged up the HVAC/radio bezel pretty good.
A friend of mine has a parts 1998 Civic. He has an extra HVAC bezel, but the climate control is different slightly. It looks like it will fit in the dash, but the actual HVAC control box and some of the buttons are different.
Question:
Can I take a 98 HVAC bezel, buy a 98ish HVAC and install it into the 00 without any wiring? What I'm getting at is the plug compatibility. I found several bezels on ebay but they were all about $80. I'm not spending $80 on a trim piece. That's just silly.
