First Honda, Long time Chevy Boy Need HELP!
Hello,
I purchased a 1998 Civic LX D16Y7 with 150k miles last week. It had just had Wire, Plugs, Cap, PCV, coolant flush and oil changed. About 8 miles after I got it home the CEL came on with a code P0505 per Jiffy Lube. The idle is rough but seems to hold around 800ish rpm then all of the sudden drops to about 300 then back up to 800 while in drive or reverse. In park it sits at about 1100rpm. If I turn on the AC while in Drivethe car shakes and almost stalls around 200rpm. I did a little research and replaced the Idle Air Control Valve yesterday with a new one and the idle seems to be a little less rough but still has the same symptoms as prior. Any suggestions? I'm completely stumped?
