Help car got broken into 97 civic Dx
This weekend I went To open the car and found all the plastic casing around the steering wheel removed. Tried to start the car and it won't start. I came to the the idea they messed up the lock cylinder and replaced it with a new one from auto zone and no luck. With the original key and lock cylinder car chimes on with no dash lights on. Same thing is happening with the new key/lock cylinder replacement! Any ideas? Car is automatic and has power with horn and headlights coming on. It's 97 civic DX AT
Thanks guys

Bad ignition switch/cut wires or not plugged in all the way under the dash, or blown large fuses in the engine compartment box (a 40 amp fuse powers the ignition switch).
Call the cops?
Insurance claim, let them get it figured out?
