I live in Kansas City, MO and the owner of the shop is having a hard time believing me. I spent two grand having the engine replaced in January, and didnt notice the theft till this saturday, when I was looking at it, to shop online for a replacement. this crummy brittle radiator leaked & my car over heated 3wks ago.

I know what my radiator looked like, since I just did a flush&fill at the start of winter. The shop owner needs to take responsibility for what goes on in his shop, right? (I don't want to name the shop until I've given him the opportunity to do the right thing.)

They wanted to charge me over $300 the replace the radiator. I need my car now, so I just spent $100 and did it myself.

I've only spoken to the owner of the shop over the phone so far, and I'm calling him again today. I just want him to make this right. How do you think I should proiceed? He wants me to explain to him, why someone would do this... Really? Just how easy is it to find an original 6th gen radiator in excelent condition?

Maybe he's saying the shop took his good radiator and replaced it with a crappy one, and that he didn't notice this swap until he looked at it the other day.
