Honda Civic LX Transmission Issue
I have a 1999 Hinda Civic LX. The check engine light is on, the D4 light is blinking and the speed and odometer do not work. When I put it into gear it goes in hard (kind of bangs into gear). When I start to drive you can feel it lacks power or I guess it slips till you get up to speed. If I start off by putting the car in L it does not seem to lack power. Then I just up shift the car as I gain speed and the car feels normal with no loss of power. When I shift the auto trans it seems to work well other than the clunk or bang putting it into gear and the check engine light on and D4 light flashing.
