98 Civic LX Hesitation

Hi everybody, new to the forums, and first time Honda owner. Sorry for my first post, because it's going to be a long one, but I've searched several forums and haven't come up with much. I went to school to be an automotive tech, but I've been in retail a few years so I've got to admit I've gotten a little rusty. I just bought a 1998 LX automatic under the assumption that it would need an engine. When I went to buy it, the car started and ran, and I drove it around the block but it had REALLY bad misfire going uphill especially, but up to about 30mph. It was completely on empty and so I put some good high octane fuel in it and drove it on home. The more I drive it seems to get a little better. I removed and had tested the ignition control module and coil. The coil was right at spec but I put it all back together, and checked rotor/cap and they looked ok. Plugs appear to have an almost chalk white appearance to them. Compression tested to approximately 150 across the board, not bad for 193k miles, but also in spec. Pulled top timing cover and belt looks good and, looks right on. Seems to have a slightly longer startup time on first start, but runs better cold then warm. Steady but rough idle. From a dead stop hesitates at takeoff but now around 10mph seems to just pick up and go right on down the road fine. Checked vacuum lines all I could and didn't find any problems. Hooked up my ELM scanner, shows 11-13 advance on timing. The things that seemed off were that MAF reads about 8inMG at idle, calculated load is around 30% at idle, and weirder is that TPS reads about 10.2% with no pedal, and gradually runs up, but full pedal highest reading was 91.4%. My codes are P0300,301,302,303,304, and 1399. All cylinders are affected by pulling plugs. Oil/Coolant look perfectly fine. I'm thinking that it could be fuel pump/pressure regulator/filter, but don't have a banjo adapter to test it out. Also thinking cap/rotor/plugs, but also wondering about the weird TPS min/max readings. I would like to know what you all think without just changing parts, cause I don't have much into the car. Please help me out guys, I don't want to drop a lot of dime on this gas saver. Thanks for any guidance, and sorry for the LOOONG post haha

Re: 98 Civic LX Hesitation

Also, with it running, I was trying to check a good connection on the TPS so I unplugged it to plug it back in, but it instantly died, no limp mode or anything, just died instantly. And I also watched the O2 and it was fluctuating, but there was no code set for lean, or anything like that, but when starting off, timing pulls out to like 24 degrees when it begins to hesitate, which also looking at the plugs makes me think could be a lean condition. Once again thanks for any help guys its greatly appreciated
