I recently bought a 98 DX. Recently I've noticed a hot smell after driving. Curious what the temp is supposed to run at before the fan clicks on. My car runs around 200 degrees. The previous owner replaced the radiator in the car due to a crack in the old one. Not sure what he replaced it with or if the thermastat was replaced. I've seen that the T-Stat is supposed to be a 185. Is this bad? All of this also happened after I did an oil change. I'm not a newbie to mechanical stuff, just the civic and 4 cyl world.

Any info would be helpful.
