downstream o2 sensor
Ok I have a 98 ex and am getting a code for the Heater circuit malfunction for my secondary o2 sensor. I know that a heated sensor works better faster when its hot but do I really need it to be heated? Would I be able to just simply bypass the heater circuit with a resistor? And would that severely impact my fuel mileage? Btw I have a test pipe in place of the cat, would that be affecting it in any way?
