Hey there, I am a new owner of a 1999 Civic LX, 5 speed, 116,345. The car is pretty basic, but runs(well did run) great. After driving for a couple hours, I shut the car off and ran into the house. 20 minutes later I went to leave and the car wouldn't start. All the lights come on like there supposed to, put when you try to start it, you hear a click and everything shuts off. Afterwards, it takes awhile for any lights to come on, or even the door chime to come on. I replaced the ignition switch, and had the starter tested, and it was fine. But of course since I am posting this, I'm still having the problem. Now the car will roll start, but it takes a couple tries to get it going. Any idea's for a newbie? Newbie to Honda not cars

Test your battery if the battery is good test your alternator.

It's not either, when you go to turn it on the dash lights dont slowly die, they just shut off and you hear a click as if something isn't allowing the car to send power to the starter or rest of car.

Also the power windows, radio, and keyless entry don't work .
