I recently slid out of control on a turn and jumped the curb, deploying the driver and passenger airbags on my 97 civic DX. I have since fixed the problems with the rear tire and have purchased replacement airbags, but I am not sure how to delete the crash codes so they do not redeploy once I reconnect the airbags.

Would resetting the SRS module like in the video delete the crash codes or would I need to do it some other way?

I do not have the money at the moment to take it to the dealership for them to reset it so that's out of the question and I need this car to get to school. any help will be appreciated.

You cannot "reset" (erase) any codes related to a deployment. The only fix is to replace the airbag control unit (SRS Module).

The video only shows manually erasing codes. This cannot clear a deployment code.

Edit: Try clearing the codes anyway, see what happens.
