When I keep a high rpm on 1st gear ill shift at around 5000 my rpms drop straight down in 2nd gear to 2000 from 5000+ only the 2nd gear does this all other gears keep rpms up high I cant race anyone cause i shift into second and the dam rpms drop to low and my car just slows down even if i keep my foot on the gas and clutch and balance them to keep the rpms high it doesnt work. its a 1.5 D15B8 with a DX head, regular clutch, full no cat exhaust, and a vtec P06 ecu.

Well, 1st and 2nd have the highest ratio differences, so that's one reason, although that does seem like a really low drop. I never really wind out 1st though, so I can't really speak from experience. Keep the racing to the track if you aren't already.

Ya its just 2nd gear even if I dont wind it up it still drops to 2000 no matter what in 2nd it sucks. I was told it might be a voltage problem the battery isnt juicing the car enough also was told it could be a bad 2nd gear. IDK i cant pick up speed I have a fast car that is slow outta 2nd I need advice on fixing the problem.
