car shuts down noobie need some help.

hello guys i have a 1990 civic hatch back with at b16a2 motor in it. the swap was already done when i got the car. i run this car at my local race track every saturday night. the car is not on the road. anyways the problem. well racing along (2ed gear about 7800 rpm) the will just act like its not getting any fuel. rpms drops down car dont go give it about 10 secs you will to able to punch the gas and take back off again.
already checked fuel presser thats 45psi changed fuel filter and ignition coil. some told me it might be somthing in the computer? i need some help.

that im not sure because i took the dash out so i dont know if the cel is on or not. dont have a clue what to do

You took the dash out, including the gauge cluster.. That's major overkill when it comes to weight reduction for a car at your level.

You can still plug the ECU into a code reader to pull a code, if there is one.

where can i take the ecu and have that done? of is there a plug some place and just you a scanner? thanks for you help so fare.

Try an auto store. They usually let you use their scanner for free. Might get lucky with a dealership too.......
