98 Civic Radiator problem
98 Civic Radiator problem
Hey guys my bad if theres a lot of threads about this, couldnt find any answers.
So my car overheated on me the other day, ran out of antifreeze. So I filled it up, got home late at night. The next day drove to school and back everything was alright. Then I checked the little reserve tank for the radiator and it was almost empty.. I filled it again, went out last night, checked it this morning, and again is not empty but close to being empty.
I can't see any spills anywhere, my pops is telling me it might be the radiator cap, but its on real tight, it doesnt feel loose at all, can that still be a problem?
Thanks guys.

Re: 98 Civic Radiator problem
I found a leak, if that helps anybody answer my question.. I found the leak today, its coming from a tube that leads to the engine. I think it might the transmisson. So my question now becomes, is this fixable at home? Or would I need to take it in to a mechanic, how much coinage am I looking at spending for this.. ?
