Im trying to recharge my AC but am unable to find the Low Pressure Service Port. Ive searched and all the diagrams ive found have either been for higher models or different generations. So i took a pic and am hoping someone can help me out here. Thanks

On my 96 it's on the larger diameter hose to the compressor.

Thanks. Im a bit of a noob when it comes to this Honda . Where exactly would it be. I thought i found it but did not see the blue or even red caps for the Low and High sides

dx doesnt have ac. the vp does but i am not seeing the same parts that mine has. are you positive your car has ac?

My 1998 DX had A/C

Does your dash have an A/C button? haha

from that picture, it is hard to see any a/c parts...the lines would be right in front of the radiator...and you would have a condenser (looks like a radiator)

Ya im possitive i have AC. I bought it in November and the AC was nice and crisp. Im living in Italy now and its about to be summer and im not getting any cold air so im trying to recharge it. I thought it would have been right up front also but its not there. What would be the best/easiest way for me to track it down. Thanks in advance.

take another picture of the engine bay...your first picture looks like you do not have a condenser beside the radiator...

hmmm i could have sworn that the dx didnt come with ac or power steering and that the vp came with those instead. anyone know what the difference between the 2 are?

I definitely had power steering...haha...

Probably like most makes/models, you can add anything on to it...but at a certain point, it would be an LX or an EX though..right?

According to this diagram it's right underneath the power steering pump. If it's not there then it was removed by the previous owner or was never there. It would be in no other place. Perspective is from the front-driverside.



In your pic it doesn't look like it's there 'cause you can see all the way to the splash shield.
