I have a 95' civic lx with a JDM SPORT D15B7 NON I v-tec. I was driving the civic as my tranny decide to stop working at a red light. (i was in D3 because i dont need the overdrive gear in D4). it Would not move foward or nada. i was able to get it to the side of the road and turn it off. i turned it back on bout an hour later got it bout 2 minutes of my house. i took it easy as i stayed under 3.5 rpms, at bout 40 mphs. i then decided to all hell with it to check the fluids for transmission. it was bone dry. so i went out bought the honda ATF fluids everything was going good til i was test driving it and all of a sudden in 1st gear it hit 7 rpms (it never goes that high) and it shifted in second gear it hit 4 rpms and shifted. normally it hits 2.5-3 rpms in first and 4.5-5 rpms in 2 nd. then pulling to my homestretch of road it all of a sudden decides not to work and my rpms goes from 2 to 7 in split second. maybe u can help me and i would be very great ful. btw the tranny fluid was bone dry...but i had no leaks and i do not have a tranny module so it couldnt burn any of it. another problem but if can help like i said ill be grateful.

Your best bet is go ahead and get another tranni and would be a good idea to do a manual swap. The 2 reasons are rebuilding an auto is pretty damn pricey and it is a pain to do.
