98 Civic Poor acceleration & Terrible Gas Mileage

First time poster!! I have a 98 Honda Civic Ex with 220000+kms on it. It accelerates terribly and can't climb hills as well is going thru almost twice the fuel consumption. I did a tune up (new wires/cap and rotor/plugs and fuel filter last summer (20k ago). I don't have any service records prior to what I have done (we got it with about 190k on it). Really like the car and would like to keep it going. No other symptons at all no codes, it idles fine, revs up nicely. Any suggestions on what to try would be great. Thanks!

****...you should get your oxy sensor checked and check the compression in those cylinders with a car with that many miles the rings are prolly garbage ..does it burn oil?
