First make sure the heater valve on the firewall is not stuck partially open.

If the heater is not on, then some refrigerant may have leaked from the system. To check this, measure the refrigerant pressures on the high and low sides. If refrigerant is low, then either recharge the system if there is a very slow leak or fix the leak and recharge if there is a fast leak.

youre honestly better off finding help by paying for it...I tried posting this same topic weeks ago. One guy helped alot but otherwise its nothing like the jeepforums I frequent.

Also may have to do with the fact that Gearheads may know about cars but AC is something most dont touch.

I would say that these comments are over generalizations. There are members here and on other Civic forums who are knowledgeable about car A/C systems. It's really not that complicated. One does, however, need the proper tools to do this type of work. A manifold gauge set is essential, as is a vacuum pump if you wish to evacuate the system yourself. Legally, everyone really must have refrigerant drained from the system professionally, but other steps such as evacuation and recharging and addition of refrigerant containing leak-detecting dye can be done by you.
