ok im looking at a 96-98 Civic VTI with a D16B auto its the SOHC and i want to know what heads can i swap that for to make more power? remember im in Japan/Okinawa so i have the ability to get anything honda here. i want to know what head swaps i can do.



i have even seen a real honda integra type R here with the 220hp engine. also i have been in a prelude 2.2 VTEC that was fun.(not my car) that thing was quite quick for what it was.

but right now i have the opertunity to get a 99 accord with a 2.0 SOHC Auto for $600 and its nice but not for me, its for the wife.

why not do a full motor swap. i bet jdm motors are dime a dozen over there, like the B18C. head swaps do not usually do much, maybe an extra 10-15hp with tuning.

yeah i just checked out the car that im getting tomarrow after work and it is a 1998 EK3 auto with a D15B. so i think a full our swap is in order,lol. the dealer said it was a D16. sooooo now that i took a look at her the other dealer is giving me a 1400 discount and that will drop the price down to a whopping 3400,lol. before my downpayment and guess what guys here they dont have intrest for financing cars.
