What is the difference in a 2000 Civic Si, 2000 Civic EX, and a 2000 Civic DX? I know the Si has a DOHC vTec engine, and the other 2 have the SOHC engine. I know the EX has power windows and locks, the DX doesn't. The Si also has the RPM guage. Other than those differences... What I am looking to know is, what differences am I going to see after I get a new coil over suspension, slotted and dimpled rotors, and a new b18c1 engine. Will there be any differences at all that will benifit me in any model? If i do all that to an EX, will I be better off in any way possible by doing it to an Si? Let me know, thanks!

Well the EX and the SI have the power features and moonroof over the DX... So that is definitely a plus. But if you definitely plan on swapping out the motor and trans and suspension on the car. EX or SI will do. You always have more bragging rights with the SI but then you could have a sleeper EX. It is up to you.

I'd go with an EX with the k20, sleeper all the way. I love the looks on peoples faces when you smoke them in the lil' thing. The other thing is why pay more for an SI, the braggings rights aren't worth the $$$ if its just as fast!
