Guys, I messed up my front bumper pretty bad by hitting a fence while being an idiot and distracting myself with a phone. Anyways, the estimate from a body shop to fix the bumper is around $800 which I think is absolutely ridiculous. I found several bumpers (bumper cover) on eBay for around $70 already primed and also found a seller who will send them already painted for about $170.

What do you guys recommend?

Finally, I lost my paint code which used to be located on the insde of my drivers side door after a body shop fixed my car a while back; any idea on how to get the right paint code for my vehicle? Its a Red 01 Honda Civic, bought in November 2000.

As in bumper cover you mean all new bumper? Anyway, if thats what you mean I'd say go with that. Also, as for the color I have no idea, google it.
