I am new to this site and new to the civic world so I am hoping I can get some help. I found an 01 ex coupe with 65xxx miles in the local paper for $2000 so I had to jump on it. Steal of a deal or what? I thought it would be all screwed up but its not that bad. Got it looked at today and it has a hole in the tailpipe, small tear in the cv boot, needs the rotors either turned or replaced and unfortunately it is automatic. I need some help though. The dumb *** who I bought it from had some gay racing seats in it. I am looking for both front stock tan seats and seatbelts. He also put a aftermarket shifter in that just pisses me off so I am looking for a stock one of those as well. If anyone can help me out let me know.

By the way its lowered about two and a half inches with springs and coilovers and its got a kn airfilter.

what kind of racing seats r in it, what kind of seat belts are in it? as for rotors, get brembo blanks, they are cheap, and work very well, and for anything else u need, go to hondaautomotiveparts.com, wonderful site, with great prices, and welcome to the site

They are tenzo racing seats with the whole five point harness deal. The harness is a pain to get in and out of thats why I dont like it. Thanks for the advice .

idk sounds like alot of mess to fix. new seats, new suspension (im sure he didnt get anything quality there), auto, he prolly beat on it and didnt take care of anything. idk.

surprisingly he got quality springs and coilovers. And the seats are not a problem more of a preference.

For $2k I believe I got a steal. Even if he beat on it a swap to a dohc vtec sounds like fun and a good learning experience. same goes with a manuel swap.
