Is it true that all 2000 LX's left the factory with the keyless receiver installed regardless if the car was sold originally without the keyless entry?
I just bought a a super clean LX for my daughter (first car) and I want to put the keyless entry in it. It has power locks and no trunk popper. I have read that all of these LX's have the receiver and all I have to do is get the fobs and program them (I have downloaded some instructions BTW)...if I read it correctly. Also, I know from reading that the factory head units on '99-'00 Civics are not tied into the alarm system. This is good because I bought a CD player from a '99 to replace the existing AM/FM and I am going to add an iPod adapter to the radio since I am not adding on a 6-disc so it should interface in the CD changer plug in the back.

If this is in fact the situation, which key fobs do I need?
