will this fit?
will this fit?
hey, i was wondering if the Edelbrock Turbo Kit for the 1996-2000 Honda Civic would fit our car. i know its for a different year, but you should be able to get it to fit our cars i think. because i know you can fit the intake mani on our cars, so why shouldnt the turbo manifold and ic piping fit. i would just like to know about this cuz it seems like a way good deal.

Well, I think that there is more then meets the eye to the intake and exhaust manifold...In order to get the intake manifold to fit, you have to cut some parts of the engine bay, and some more involved things I believe. i'm not sure because I don't know too much about it. But I do know that getting the intake manifold to fit is much more then just bolting it up.
I would Imagine that the intercooler piping could fit if you relocated the battery to the trunk or elsewhere.
The exhaust manifold is a different story. Even the slightest difference in bolt alignment or thickness of one part to another would make a very large difference. Another thing that I might raise concern about would be the clearance in the engine bay.
Just out of curiousity, why do you want this kit for your car? Just because it's street leagal for one engine, doesn't mean it'll be legal for another. I think you should just invest in Dezods kit, or piece your own together....it'll be more specific for your car....
