2002 door actuator weak
when a door actuator on a 2002 coupe sounds really weak and cant lock or unlock does that sound like a bad actuator or something else?

amazon has a ****-ton of actuators .but its hard to tell because it will say it fits...bu it will also say "front drivers side" ..ughhh----- i got a coupe

i keep seeing a black one "that fits" and a white one "that fits" and they are both completely different..wtf am i looking for? lol

as for replacement procedure coupe vs sedan its going to be essentially the same, if anything you'll probably have more room with the coupe since the doors are bigger

Coupe is a breeze. My driver's side died, replaced with cheap amazon part number 857413 (manufacturer APDTY), then passenger side died months later, replaced with amazon part number 857412 (also APDTY). both have been working fine so far.

When I had to replace mine a couple years ago I used the repair manual I found online to help with the installation since I couldn't find any YouTube videos. Since then I have used several times and it has saved me lots of $$ on labor costs.

I replaced my driver's side actuator with a dorman. For aftermarket parts, they're pretty exceptional.
