The dash light behind the rear defroster button is burned out. I assume I can replace a bulb, but before I pull the dash apart, I want to make sure I have the right bulb.
Does anybody know the bulb #?
(same question for the light in the auto transmission that lights up under the RNDD3L indicator in the console)

The light that tells you whether or not the defroster is on? Or the light that illuminates the button itself?

Just to finish off this thread, the bulb in the console for the shifter is a T5 type bulb. The dealer sells it for about $5 and is Honda part number 35505-S30-003. You need to remove the trim ring and the trim plate around the shifter (no tools are required for this)
The bulbs (there are 2) behind the defroster is Honda part number 79609-S5A-003, sells for about $4 and is a special order at my local dealer.
Hope this helps someone.

Also note that the defroster/air/recirculate buttons are illuminated by 2 bulbs. To replace these bulbs, you must remove the entire center of the dash. It is a pain in the neck

Just to add some updated info, instead of getting mugged at the dealer for OEM bulbs for the recirc, A/C and rear defrost buttons, for these two bulbs you can also get a working replacement from Radio Shack.
Radio Shack 12V Microlamps 2-Pack (Model #272-1092)
They are $1.99 for two bulbs. They are a smidge shorter than the factory bulb, but still fit into the plastic holder without problem. Just remove the old bulb, slide the two wires through, pull them into the same groove where the factory bulb went, trim the lead and you are set.
